Testimonies to Jesus as Messiah
In the printed passage, Matthew 17: 1-12, we learned that the disciples Peter, James, and John witnessed the transfiguration of Jesus up in a high mountain. Jesus face shined like the sun and His clothes was white as light. The disciples saw Jesus in this state talking to Moses and Elijah. Peter, always the outspoken disciple, tried to respond, but while he was speaking a cloud overshadowed them and a voice out of the cloud said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him." God spoke as He did when Jesus was baptized owning His Son that He loved and shared how pleased He was with Him that He was carrying out His plan that we may all have salvation. Both, the transfiguration and the voice of God in testimony that Jesus is the Messiah were "Witnessed by Disciples."
