The Promise of New Life

The lesson for March 15 titled, God's People Restored Again, comes from Ezekiel 36:22-32. Ezekiel continues to communicate to the Israelites the message God had given him. The adulterous relationship with idol gods the people of Israel were having was enough for God to divorce Himself from them, but God promised to restore them to their land. He would not only bring them back to their land, he would cleanse them of their filthiness from the idols. How does the promise He made to the Israelites compare with salvation? Was He going to change their stony hearts and what is meant by the statement," I will take away the stony heart ..., and I will give you an heart of flesh?"

How can we as Christians live to represent the change God places in our hearts?

John 14:6 states,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father by me."

Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves...

We are saved by God's Grace. We must repent our sins.
