Called Out of Egypt

On Sunday, June 21, our adult topic is "Recognizing True Authority," using scriptures from Exodus 5:1-9, 22-23; 6:1. When Moses, Aaron and the elders went to Pharaoh to request that he allow the Israelites to go to the desert for three days to whorship God, his heart harden. The Pharaoh practice was to serve many gods and he did not recognize and acknowledge the great force of the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. God knew how Pharaoh would respond, and he worked His plan through Pharaoh. This should be a lesson to us. If we refuse to do as God ask us, His plan will be carried out successfully, anyway.
